The F. McDaniel Outdoor Deck
The goal for this renovation in Shenandoah County was to create added outdoor living space for a large dining table, hammock, and a hot tub to take advantage of the long mountain views. We constructed a multi-tiered deck with a pergola over the dining space to provide shade while the walls supporting the deck are covered with a stucco finish to match the house and provide storage underneath for lawn equipment. The patio and retaining walls were added to provide easy access to the walkout basement and provide space for outdoor entertaining.
