Vaughn Foura, Chief Operations Officer
Vaughn grew up in the residential construction industry. His experience runs from working in the field to becoming president of a $35 million dollar home building company. He earned his Business Administration degree in Real Estate at Clarion University and further refined this knowledge in accounting upon graduation, at Shenandoah University. He has worked in nearly every position — from laborer, customer service rep, salesperson, estimating assistant, accounting manager, to the position of Vice President of Accounting, and eventually serving as President of OakCrest Builders from 2001-2013. His involvement in the community and industry include: Past Board member and Treasurer of the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, New Business Development Committee of Winc.- Fred. County EDC, Advisory Council for a local lending institution, Past President of the Top of Virginia Building Association in 2003, Past President of his Builder 20 Club at NAHB in 2006 and past member of the sales and marketing, and senior housing councils at NAHB. He also was certified as an Aging-In-Place Specialist through NAHB University of Housing in 2009. Today he is proud to work for an outstanding custom design/build company as Chief Operations Officer where he can use his experience and foster new relationships to strengthen Stratford's belief that "architecture enhances life."
